Club boats

A modest charge is made to cover maintenance and fleet renewal. The user is responsible for the cost of any repair or replacement. Boats are not available for members long term use. Priority will be given to newer members. It is expected that members will purchase their own boats and equipment within a reasonable time. K&C can assist with this.

Conditions of use:

  1. Available to members only.
  2. Equipment may only be used for the agreed period and only in areas and conditions specified in the member's basic Skills Audit or AC Award.
  3. Members who have not satisfied the Basic Skills Audit may only use club boats upstream of the road bridge on Cockle Creek, Bobbin Head unless accompanied by a K&C instructor.
  4. Equipment must be returned at the time specified and in a clean condition.
  5. Any faults or damage must be reported at the time of return of the equipment.
  6. Users are responsible for cost of repair or replacement.
  7. Transport of equipment is the responsibility of the user unless other arrangements are made.
